The hostel's ambiance was cozy and inviting, making it the perfect retreat after exploring Mendoza's vineyards. A highlight was the common lunch area, where I savored the innovative dishes prepared with local ingredients inspired by my hometown's flavors. One evening, I joined the staff for a barbecue session reminiscent of traditional Argentine asados, fostering a sense of community among guests. The breakfast spread was a pleasant surprise, offering freshly squeezed orange juice to start the day on a refreshing note. The hostel's proximity to renowned eateries in the area, such as La Cheba 1910 and El Nuevo Progreso 1917, added to the allure of my gastronomic experience. Whether indulging in empanadas at La MC Empanada or sampling dishes at El Patio, the gastronomic scene near the hostel was a true reflection of Argentina's culinary richness.
